Key Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial contracts across different Binance business lines within LATAM, providing risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Partner with cross-functional and regional teams to provide legal support on transactional matters related to tech contracts, e-commerce, fintech, and payments.
- Proactively monitor and maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws, including data privacy and protection regulations like GDPR, CCPA, and PDPA.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 5-8 years of relevant legal experience at a reputable international law firm or in-house legal team.
- Strong understanding of tech contracts, e-commerce, fintech/payments, and data privacy compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects independently, including privacy compliance programs, with excellent legal drafting and interpretation skills.

Job Responsibilities:
Be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts for different business lines and providing holistic risk assessment and suggestions to enhance business value while mitigating downside risk across multiple areas of the company
Partner with cross-functional and regional teams to provide support on a wide range of transactional matters
Anticipate and maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws, including data privacy and protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PDPA).
Provide proactive, in-depth, business-focused advice and counsel on commercial and data privacy matters.
Manage legal efforts in response to company matters, including data breach incidents and regulatory inquiries, and take charge of external communication on legal issues.
Identify developments in legal frameworks, including privacy laws, and align and promote consistency of approach in legal matters between internal stakeholders.
Advise on data privacy impact assessments, data subject rights requests, and cross-border data transfers.
Take prudent risks within the context of the overall business, advising and implementing solutions to address commercial and privacy-related issues.
Requirements:
Qualified lawyer with 5-8 years of relevant legal experience at a reputable international law firm or in-house legal team.
Experience with tech contracts, e-commerce, fintech or payments, and data privacy compliance.
Strong team player with good business sense.
Possesses solid legal technical expertise and sound business judgment in both commercial and data privacy law.
Hands-on and independent in managing complex projects, including privacy compliance programs.
Excellent legal drafting and interpretation skills.
