JOB SUMMARY: The Regional Vice President, Broker & Employer Sales is responsible for building, expanding, and strengthening strategic relationships across the health benefits ecosystem—including brokers and third‑party administrators (TPAs). This role drives net‑new business growth by developing market strategies, cultivating high‑value partnerships, and positioning the organization as a preferred solution within the regional marketplace. Role is remote, based in the United States. Travel is up to 75%.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Establishes, develops and expands Broker and TPA relationships – South East region.
2. Grows one’s client base in a continuous manner.
3. Creates opportunities to come together and unite with Brokers, Stop Loss Carriers and TPAs.
4. Brings about and nurtures all related marketplace relationships.
5. Answers client questions about services, contracts while addressing any other concerns that arise.
6. Meets or exceed established sales goals established on a quarterly basis.
7. Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
8. Ensures compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
9. Demonstrate and model the company’s core values and leadership competencies.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals.
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
Minimum 10 years of business development experience with a proven track record of sales success.
At least 5 years of experience in employee benefits, health insurance, or related fields.
Advanced sales, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills.
Experience working with health benefits brokers, TPAs, and regional health plans.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High level of professionalism, organization, and adaptability.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications.
Self‑motivated, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong understanding of local and regional market dynamics.
Demonstrated ability to build and sustain marketplace relationships.
COMPENSATIONÂ
The salary range for this position is $150K – $175K + commission. Specific offers consider a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k, and bonus opportunity.
