Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable software solutions for GoCardless' payment platform.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, prioritize, and implement new features and improvements.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code and a seamless user experience.
- Champion best practices in software development, including testing, documentation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on building scalable and distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
