Job Description
We are seeking an experienced architect with strong integration knowledge and the ability to combine holistic thinking with detailed analysis. You should feel confident in both technical discussions and leadership settings, and thrive in international, agile environments.
As a Solution Architect in the Cards Simplification program, you will:
Design solutions that align with the Group Architecture guidelines of a leading Scandinavian bank (vision, target, and transitional architecture)
Develop solutions that meet business needs while taking into account existing constraints, dependencies, and risks
Recommend corrective measures to ensure robust, future-proof architecture
Work with suppliers and development teams, ensuring smooth collaboration
Contribute to the renewal of card systems across the Nordic countries, shaping how the bank operates in the future
We would also like you to have:
Solid background in integration, microservices, and micro-applications
Experience working with agile methodologies (preferably SAFe)
Strong hands-on experience with Java
Experience with REST APIs and Kafka
Familiarity with IBM Mainframe and legacy systems
Strong leadership, delivery orientation, and interpersonal skills
Experience as an architect on large-scale projects within international organizations
Proven skills in analyzing existing solutions, designing integrations, and managing dependencies
Proven experience working on banking projects
